We are very excited to share this new ethical and sustainable collaboration!

The Ixtle Sandals are a perfect combination of the two brands’ core values and techniques, the natural hand dyeing of Agnes and the craftsmanship of Unmarked. Both handmade in Mexico.

We met Carla a few months ago and immediately fell in love with her work. She designs beautiful and unique pieces using endemic Mexican dyes. Her brand, Agnes, is ethical and sustainable.

We designed together a unique collection of sandals made of Ixtle, a natural fiber made from Agave Plant, dyed hand by Carla.

These new colors developed for this collaboration are created using Mexican dyes -harvested responsibly-, such as organic indigo (añil) and palo azul.

Each Ixtle is individually dyed to offer unique editions, solid and unrepeatable colors.

The pieces go through an artisanal dyeing process of extraction and immersion.
