N1 Boots Filtro

The N1 Boots are our interpretation of one of the most iconic military silhouettes of the 1940s.

Rather than reproducing a boot from the past, we started with something far more meaningful: an original anatomical last discovered in León, Mexico.

During World War II, León became an important manufacturing hub, producing footwear components for the U.S. Army—including wooden lasts. Decades later, while a local last maker was clearing one of their warehouses, we came across part of this original archive. Hidden among hundreds of forgotten patterns was the anatomical last that would eventually become the foundation of the N1.

Its natural shape delivers the distinctive military proportions of the era while offering a remarkably comfortable fit by modern standards.

Built using our signature Gamuza Filtro leather, the N1 features a full vegetable-tanned leather insole and midsole, natural cork filling, a leather heel counter, and is finished with a Dr. Sole Raw Cord outsole, chosen for its exceptional durability, grip, and vintage-inspired character. Every pair is handcrafted in León, Mexico using traditional 270° Goodyear welt construction, allowing the boots to be resoled and worn for decades.

The result is a boot that honors history but not by copying it, but by preserving an authentic piece of it.
